While doing Flex Remoting using HttpChannel, I get the following Flex runtime error while Flex HttpChannel decodes the response from the server

TypeError: Error #1085: The element type "META" must be terminated by the matching end-tag ""

Is there a work around?

Could you please share your code and config so we can duplicate the problem?

Thanks,
Mark

Flex Code

var r:RemoteObject = new RemoteObject();
r.destination="productObj";
r.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, resultHandler);
r.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT, faultHandler);

var array:Array = new Array();
array[0] = "Name";
array[1]="Age";

r.testDenseArrayInputParam(array);

The method testDenseArrayInputParam on the server side is as follows
public Collection testDenseArrayInputParam(Collection array)
{
return array; //return back the input param
}

The flex config and webORB config files used in my project are the same one's obtained from weborb4java.installer.

I have the following config files added to WEB-INF/classes without any change
weborb-acl.xml
weborb-config.xml

And I have the servlet & mapping entries in the web.xml for weborb.ORBServlet and weborb.DownloadServlet (both configured to load on startup)

In the flex folder..
remoting-config.xml changes

flex.samples.Product

my-http is defined in the services-config.xml as

I have commented the messaging service by commenting it in the services-config xml and also in the weborb-services-config.xml

I had to download and add JDOM jar as specified in the developer manual as it was not available in the weborb4java downloaded web project. Added it to WEB-INF/lib

A point to mention is that I do fine using this service with AMF channel.

First of all,adobe flex interpretes the .mxml file's design page.After that,the source having all the service call of protected access specifier of the event is being reflected to the design page.Ensure that the Adobe flex application is being bound to HTTP source package or the source code might not have enough privileges.
