I've converted my flex application to air. Do I need to upgrade my weborb 3.0.2 to 4.x? If yes, which one should I use? Do I need a specific Air version for weborb?

No, you do not need a specific version of AIR, but I would highly recommend upgrading WebORB to the latest version.
