What This Integration Enables

An agent can upsert a contact with Sync Contact, read, update, and delete contacts, and set custom field values, so a lead captured anywhere lands in ActiveCampaign once and stays current. It creates and lists tags, adds and removes them from contacts, and manages list subscription status, which is how segmentation happens automatically instead of by hand. Deals, pipelines, and stages are fully readable and writable, so the CRM side stays in step with the marketing side. Beyond records, the agent enrolls a contact into an automation the moment an external event warrants it, lists campaigns, and adds notes for follow-up context. The "On ActiveCampaign Event" trigger fires on account activity in real time, so a flow can react the instant a contact, tag, deal, or campaign event occurs rather than polling for it. New Lead, Synced and Segmented

A lead arrives from a form. The agent calls Sync Contact to upsert the record without a duplicate, applies a segment tag with Add Tag To Contact, and enrolls the contact with Add Contact To Automation. From capture to the start of a nurture sequence is one run, and the same person submitting twice never becomes two contacts.

Bulk Import Without Duplicates

The agent reads a list of leads from [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) with Get Rows and calls Sync Contact for each row. Because Sync Contact upserts on email, importing the same roster twice updates the existing contacts instead of doubling the list.

React to a Won Deal

The "On ActiveCampaign Event" trigger fires when a deal is updated to won.
