Delivery-confirmed order updates
An order is placed and the customer needs a confirmation. The agent sends the text with Send SMS, then calls Get SMS Delivery Status with the returned message ID to confirm it was delivered rather than rejected or failed. If delivery fails, the workflow reacts instead of assuming the customer was notified.
Validated lead capture
A lead submits a phone number. The agent runs Number Lookup using HLR or portability to confirm the number is reachable and current, then creates the contact in a downstream system only when the number checks out. Invalid numbers never make it into the pipeline.
Voice reminder campaign with a dial gate
A workflow pulls a list of pending reminders and prepares to deliver each as a text-to-speech voice call with Send Voice Call. Because a voice campaign reaches people directly on their phones and spends credit per call, the agent checks Get Account Balance and then stops at the human-in-the-loop step to confirm the list before it begins dialing.
