Cisco Webex

Communication

Integrate Cisco Webex messaging, spaces, memberships, people, teams, and meetings. Post to spaces or people, manage spaces and members, look up people, schedule meetings, and manage Webex-side webhooks.

30 actions available
A customer escalation reaches a stage that calls for a live meeting
Agent reads the account details and the list of invitees, internal and external
Agent flags that the invitee list includes people outside the organization
Agent drafts the meeting time, title, and invitee list
Agent posts the proposed meeting and the external invitees to the account team space
An account lead approves; only then does the agent call Create Meeting and send the join link

What This Integration Enables

FlowRunner agents use Webex to run enterprise messaging and to coordinate live meetings from a workflow. An agent can post a message to a space or a person with text, markdown, and Adaptive Card attachments, provision and manage spaces and their members, look up people by email to route correctly, schedule, update, and cancel meetings and share the join link, download files attached to messages, and manage Webex-side webhooks that post to an endpoint you host. Bots only see spaces they belong to, so the agent adds itself before it posts. The action the agent confirms first is scheduling a meeting with external invitees, because those invitations leave the building.

Without FlowRunner

Meeting scramble Someone schedules the escalation call by hand and chases the join link
Invite mistakes The wrong external contact gets a calendar invite before anyone reviews it
Manual link sharing The join link is copied into a message one recipient at a time

With FlowRunner

Agent prepares the meeting The agent assembles the time, title, and invitee list from the escalation
Human approves external invites An account lead reviews the outside invitees before the meeting is booked
Automatic link delivery The agent shares the join link with every invitee once the meeting is set

Use Case Scenarios

Escalation meeting with an external-invite gate

A customer escalation reaches the stage where a live call is warranted. The agent assembles the meeting time, title, and invitee list, notices that the list includes people outside the organization, and posts the proposed meeting to the account team space. An account lead reviews the external invitees and approves. Only then does the agent call Create Meeting and use Create Direct Message to send each invitee the join link. No outside invitation goes out without a person reviewing who receives it.

Project space provisioning

The agent uses List People to resolve a coworker's email to a person ID, creates a project space with Create Room, and adds the right members with Create Membership. The bot adds itself to the space first so it can post. A project gets a ready space and the right people without manual setup.

File relay from a space

The agent uses List Messages and Get Message Attachment to pull files posted in a Webex space into FlowRunner storage, then relays a summary into another team's channel through a different connector. Attachments move between platforms without anyone downloading and re-uploading by hand.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

The human-in-loop moment in Webex is the external-invite gate on meetings. Posting inside a space runs on its own. Scheduling a meeting that invites people outside the organization does not, because those invitations reach customers and partners directly. When the agent prepares an escalation meeting and sees external invitees on the list, it stops and posts to the account team space: "Ready to schedule a call with two external contacts at Acme. Approve the invitee list before I book?" An account lead reviews and approves. Only then does the agent call Create Meeting and share the join link. The agent handles the scheduling mechanics. A person owns the decision about who outside the company gets invited.
