DeBounce
Email MarketingDeBounce validates email addresses and cleans lists. Agents verify single addresses, check for disposable domains, run reverse email lookups, upload bulk lists and download the results, and track balance and usage.
What This Integration Enables
DeBounce answers one question well and refuses to pretend it answered more. A verdict is one of four values, and only Safe to Send is unambiguously good, with Risky and Unknown meaning exactly what they say. Alongside the verdict comes a separate suggestion about whether a transactional message would still be safe, which is the distinction most list tools flatten: an address can be a poor marketing target and a perfectly fine destination for a receipt. FlowRunner agents call it one address at a time in front of a form, or submit a whole list by URL and pull the results file back into storage.
Two of its routes need no key and cost nothing, which changes where the check can live. Checking whether an address is a throwaway is free, so an agent can run it on every public signup without touching the credit balance, and spend real credits only where the answer changes a decision. That is the shape this connector rewards: cheap checks early, paid checks where they matter, and a person on the ambiguous remainder.

Use Case Scenarios
-
A free gate at the front door
A form submission arrives from Typeform. Before anything is charged, the agent calls Check Disposable Address, which needs no key at all, and rejects the throwaway inboxes that were never going to exist next week. What survives goes through Validate Email, and a Safe to Send result triggers Reverse Email Lookup so the contact reaches HubSpot with a name, a role and a company attached rather than as a bare address. Get Company Logo pulls the brand mark by domain into storage so the record has something to show, and it falls back to a clean monogram rather than failing when no real logo is known.
-
Cleaning a list before waking it up
A re-engagement campaign is planned against a segment that has not been mailed in a year. The agent reads Get Balance first, because DeBounce charges per address and a list larger than the balance is only validated as far as the credits reach. It exports the segment to a publicly reachable HTTPS file, calls Upload Bulk List, then polls Download Bulk Results, which folds the status check and the download into one call and stores the finished file in FlowRunner file storage. The results split into three piles: Invalid addresses removed on the agent's own authority, Safe to Send addresses cleared for the campaign, and everything else held for review.
-
Spend and volume the finance side can see
On a monthly schedule the agent calls Get Usage for the period, taking care with the vendor's two digit year format, and Get Balance for what remains. Both land in a sheet in Google Sheets next to the number of addresses the next planned import will need. When the balance would not cover it, the agent posts to Slack before the import runs rather than after it silently stops partway.
Human-in-Loop Highlight
Invalid is a fact and the agent acts on it. Unknown is not. Unknown is DeBounce reporting that it could not reach a conclusion, and deleting on Unknown is deleting on the vendor's own uncertainty, permanently, from a list the recipient may have joined deliberately. Risky is worse, because Validate Email answers it alongside a separate suggestion that a transactional message would still be safe, so a blanket purge of Risky addresses also destroys the ability to send those people their own receipts. So after a bulk run the agent removes only the Invalid rows, then posts the rest: "This run returned two buckets I will not act on. The Unknown addresses were not resolved either way. Of the Risky ones, some are flagged safe for transactional mail and some placed an order last quarter, and both lists are attached. Remove, suppress from marketing only, or keep?" The reviewer picks per bucket. The agent then applies the decision across the CRM and the sending platform in one pass. Machine speed on the certain cases, a named person on the ones the verdict scale declined to decide.
Agent Capabilities
9 actionsValidation
2- Validate Email Checks one address and returns the verdict with the reason behind it, the role and free provider flags, and a separate suggestion about whether a transactional message would still be safe. The three enrichment options each cost extra credits and are off unless switched on.
- Check Disposable Address Reports whether an address or a bare domain belongs to a throwaway mail provider. Free and needs no API key, which makes it the right gate on a public signup form when the only question is whether the address will exist tomorrow.
Enrichment
2- Reverse Email Lookup Looks an address up in DeBounce's data append service and returns whatever contact and company information it holds, such as a name, a role or a social profile. This is enrichment rather than validation, so a Safe to Send address can still come back with nothing attached.
- Get Company Logo Fetches a company's logo by domain into FlowRunner file storage and returns the URL. Free, needs no key, and falls back to a clean monogram when no real logo is known rather than failing.
Bulk Lists
3- Upload Bulk List Submits a CSV or TXT list of addresses for bulk validation by URL and returns the list identifier. DeBounce fetches the file itself, so the URL has to be publicly reachable over HTTPS.
- Get Bulk List Status Reads how far a bulk validation has got, as a percentage alongside the status. The download link is absent until the run completes.
- Download Bulk Results Reads the list status and, if the run has finished, downloads the result file into FlowRunner file storage and returns the URL. If the run is still going it returns the percentage instead, so one operation can carry the whole polling loop.
Account
2- Get Balance Returns the validation credits left on the account. Read this before a bulk upload, because a list larger than the balance is only validated as far as the credits reach.
- Get Usage Returns how many API calls the key made over a date range. The dates use the vendor's two digit year format, and the start date has to fall inside the window the vendor supports.
